Delivery Representative
We are seeking a Delivery Representative to join our team! As part of People’s Linen Service you will deliver clean fresh quality linens to our customers (resorts, hotels, and fine restaurants across New England) and pick up soiled linens to be processed back at our laundry in Keene, NH. No CDL required. Prior delivery experience a plus, but not a necessity… we have a comprehensive training program which lasts between 4-8 weeks. starting pay is $21.50 an hour and any successful candidate who completes 90 days of service will receive benefits like Health/Dental/Vision insurance, paid time off and holiday pay. a no cost to you life insurance policy along with 401k participation with company matching will be available after 1 year of service.
Responsibilities
- Work safely according to DOT guidelines... Safety is #1!
- Deliver linen to customer locations in a timely manner
- Collect soiled linens from customer locations
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate truck inventory

Maintenance Tech
Overview:
People’s is seeking to add a member to our maintenance team. This position will be a full time position with 45 hours a week average, and up to 50 hours a week possible during our busy seasons (February, June-October). The position’s duties will revolve around the PM and repair of Industrial laundry equipment. Keeping our machines operating properly and safely during our swing shift is crucial. Basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical skills will be required to get the job done. Accuracy and organization are essential; reliability and a friendly disposition are paramount.
Schedule:
1st shift: 7:00Am – 4:30Pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work. during busy season and as special projects dictate.
Responsibilities:
- Understand basic hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems along with associated safety practices.
- Work independently on routine tasks. This will require attention to detail in following standardized preventative maintenance plans on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual schedule.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and machine servicing.
- Able to competently prioritize and address maintenance issues as they arise, and to clearly and accurately complete required documentation for each assignment.
- Utilize a solid working knowledge of general safety practices, along with the ability to recognize safety concerns and successfully take the initiative to modify/fix appropriately without direction.
- Computer literacy required as work orders are managed on an E-Maint System (you will receive training)
- Resolve auxiliary equipment issues.
- Provide appropriate support (as necessary) to Material Handling / Receiving crews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of an Accredited two-year Technical College Program in a related field of study, and/or 3-5 years related experience preferred but mechanically adept individuals with less experience will be considered and provided training.
- Mechanic skills including (but not limited to) mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Positive work ethic and Initiative to address and resolve issues that arise in the immediate situation.
- Some individual jobs may require the ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs., and/or the pushing of heavy carts.
